The babies are now 5 weeks old and are getting cuter every day. Plus they are growing, playing, and trying to find out how to escape from their pen. We are also thinking of some preliminary names to help us keep them apart. I will probably refer to their puppy names in further postings.

I got involved with Canaan dogs in 2000 when my business partner, Jack Rowe, decided to get one. When Jack died in 2005 at 83 years young, I inherited all of his Canaan dogs, some of which I already co-owned. By this time I had already been sold on this amazing breed. Their intelligence, natural beauty and primitive way of doing things never ceases to amaze me. They are dogs untouched by man and I just hope that I can continue to do what Mother Nature has already perfected.
