I got involved with Canaan dogs in 2000 when my business partner, Jack Rowe, decided to get one. When Jack died in 2005 at 83 years young, I inherited all of his Canaan dogs, some of which I already co-owned. By this time I had already been sold on this amazing breed. Their intelligence, natural beauty and primitive way of doing things never ceases to amaze me.
